Field Applications Engineer – FAE

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Serbia.

📋 Description

• Provide technical sales assistance, engage in pre-sales activities, and foster customer relationships as a Field Applications Engineer.

• Perform technical discovery sessions, deliver sales presentations, and demonstrate product value propositions.

• Develop and present both live and recorded technical content for sales and marketing initiatives.

• Analyze client technical and business challenges to build credibility with prospects, customers, and partners.

• Act as a technical authority supporting the Sales Team to help shorten sales cycles.

• Increase the sales pipeline within targeted accounts and serve as the main technical point of contact.

• Engage in strategic and tactical planning for sales and business opportunities.

• Promote the adoption, subscriptions, renewals, and brand loyalty for Altium’s product offerings.

• Enhance technical expertise through technical content and the Altium product roadmap.

• Stay informed about competitor products, features, and emerging technologies.

• Educate customers using Altium Training Content.

• Conduct instructor-led training sessions.

• Keep up-to-date with customer training materials.

• Create and revise training content, including scripts, video storyboards, project examples, and technical video series.

• Collaborate with internal teams on new product features and developments.

• Mentor and support both internal and external trainers.

• Deliver training courses as necessary and as they are updated.

⛳️ Requirements

• Prior experience with Altium Designer is preferred, but not mandatory.

• A background in Electrical/Electronics engineering is desirable.

• Willingness to travel across Australia & New Zealand.
