This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Louisiana, +2 more states.
β’ Proactively identify and address patient access obstacles related to payer coverage, prior authorization, step edits, copay assistance, and specialty pharmacy routing.
β’ Collaborate with healthcare provider offices to facilitate benefits verification and educate them on payer documentation requirements as well as available patient support resources.
β’ Analyze and interpret data from HUBs, specialty pharmacies, and payers to pinpoint systemic access gaps and implement compliance-approved improvements or access education.
β’ Act as a subject matter expert in field access, delivering approved access education to internal stakeholders in alignment with compliance-approved materials.
β’ Work alongside Market Access, Patient Services, and HUB vendors to enhance pull-through efficiency and address recurring access challenges.
β’ Assist in launch readiness and lifecycle management by identifying access barriers early and executing field-based mitigation strategies.
β’ Track key access performance indicators, including time to fill, PA approval rates, abandonment rates, and conversion rates, and convert insights into actionable plans.
β’ Handle high-priority case escalations involving complex reimbursement or payer issues that necessitate cross-functional collaboration.
β’ Monitor the regional payer landscape to identify policy changes or coverage shifts affecting patient access.
β’ Provide structured field insights to cross-functional partners to guide access strategy, HUB optimization, and enhancements to patient support programs.
β’ Ensure compliant and accurate documentation of case activities, interventions, and outcomes in CRM systems.
β’ Serve as a link between strategy and execution, making sure that access strategies are effectively implemented in the field.
β’ Travel within the assigned territory to connect with healthcare providers, patient support stakeholders, specialty pharmacies, and other access-related partners.
β’ Bachelorβs degree in business, life sciences, healthcare administration, or a related field.
β’ Over 10 years of experience in pharmaceutical field reimbursement, patient access services, HUB services, specialty pharmacy, or market access support roles.
β’ Strong comprehension of payer dynamics, reimbursement pathways, prior authorization workflows, and specialty pharmacy distribution models.
β’ Experience with HUB systems, case management platforms, and specialty pharmacy data feeds.
β’ Proven ability to resolve complex access and reimbursement cases in a field-based or customer-facing role.
β’ In-depth knowledge of pharmaceutical access data sources and processes, including claims, benefit verification, SP reporting, and payer policy tracking.
β’ Exceptional problem-solving skills with the capability to distill complex reimbursement scenarios into clear, actionable steps.
β’ Strong communication and relationship-building skills with healthcare provider offices, field teams, and internal stakeholders.
β’ Capability to thrive in a fast-paced launch or high-growth commercial environment with multiple priorities.
β’ Proficiency in CRM systems and the Microsoft Office Suite.
β’ Familiarity with business intelligence tools such as Tableau and Power BI is an advantage.
β’ Experience in training or supporting field sales teams on access and reimbursement topics is preferred.
