This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.
• Design, develop, and manage data pipelines (ETL/ELT) that integrate both internal and external sources into the FICO ecosystem.
• Ensure the quality, consistency, and governance of data throughout the entire process of ingestion, transformation, and delivery.
• Optimize and integrate communication between the FICO ecosystem and other organizational data platforms, such as data warehouses, data lakes, and BI tools.
• Monitor, diagnose, and resolve pipeline failures to maintain availability and performance in production environments.
• Document data flows, models, and processes while promoting best practices in engineering and reuse.
• Collaborate with data scientists, analysts, and business stakeholders to translate requirements into effective data solutions.
• Contribute to the advancement of data architecture by suggesting enhancements in performance, cost, and reliability.
• Demonstrated experience in data engineering within corporate settings.
• Expertise in the FICO ecosystem, including associated data models, platforms, and integrations.
• Strong proficiency in SQL and both relational and dimensional data modeling.
• Experience in data pipelines and the orchestration of ETL/ELT processes.
• Proficiency in programming languages focused on data, such as Python.
• Experience with data quality assurance, testing, and monitoring of pipelines.
• Familiarity with cloud environments and tools for data storage and distribution.
• Ability to operate in regulated, high-criticality environments with an emphasis on security and compliance.
• Preferred: experience in financial services, insurance, credit, or risk analysis.
• Preferred: knowledge of data warehousing, data lakes, and large-scale modeling.
• Preferred: familiarity with Airflow and Spark.
• Preferred: experience in integrating APIs and working with legacy systems.
• Preferred: knowledge of governance, data catalogs, and data lineage.
• Preferred: certifications or further training in data engineering, cloud, or analytics.
• Preferred: understanding of NoSQL and MongoDB.
