FHA Team Lead, Field Services

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Oversee conveyance timelines

• Conduct neglect evaluations

• Request extensions for conveyance timelines

• Serve as the subject matter expert for asset specialists and coordinators

• Execute process, production, reconciliation, and employee-work audits

• Provide final approval for conveyance conditions

• Update management on pipeline property status

• Manage and address client escalations

• Handle escalated asset inquiries via calls and emails from both internal and external sources

• Participate in client calls as requested by management

• Supervise the FHA portfolio

• Identify and classify loans in conveyance condition

• Assist in developing new procedures and training methodologies

• Conduct regular audits and offer constructive feedback to team members

• Review and assist with claims, chargebacks, and non-compliance correspondence

• Support asset specialist and coordinator tasks as necessary

• Perform additional duties as assigned

• This position does not involve providing or communicating corrective actions to staff

⛳️ Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent preferred

• Strong work history in mortgage default, banking, vendor management, or real estate sectors

• Preferred experience in property management, HUD denials, and managing conveyance timelines

• Knowledge or experience in Mortgage Servicing, Default Servicing, Portfolio Management, National Real Estate Management, and/or Pre-Foreclosure preferred

• Preferred experience in Contract Administration and compliance with Scope of Work/Service Line Agreements

• Relevant office experience

• Demonstrated customer service and communication skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft software products and computer skills

• Basic understanding of mortgage terminology preferred

• Experience in Property Management, Construction, REO, and/or Property Insurance preferred

• Strong decision-making and critical-thinking abilities

• Must be authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis

• Must not require sponsorship for employment visa status now or in the future
