This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California, +2 more states.
• Oversee multiple significant accounts for the US Navy, focusing primarily on NAVAIR.
• Comprehend customer IT and business goals, priorities, requirements, and challenges.
• Execute HPE strategy and enhance business performance across various HPE business units.
• Manage the portfolio mix to maximize account profitability.
• Establish a pipeline and facilitate deal closures through support and orchestration.
• Cultivate relationships with key customer influencers and decision-makers, including C-level executives.
• Develop and engage with the extended partner ecosystem.
• Position HPE’s IT portfolio by leveraging up-to-date industry knowledge.
• Lead, guide, and offer feedback to extended account team members.
• Serve as the customer’s representative within HPE.
• Create and implement account business plans.
• Direct complex, large-scale sales engagements across multiple business units through to closure.
• Oversee pipeline-building initiatives and ensure accountability for deals.
• Coordinate partner strategy and governance for accounts.
• Mentor colleagues within HPE and provide developmental opportunities for extended team members.
• Collaborate with customer-facing HPE organizations to enhance customer experience and satisfaction.
• Must be a US citizen.
• At least 6 years of sales experience in an enterprise setting.
• A minimum of 3 years of successful sales experience focused on acquiring new business and addressing white space.
• Over 5 years of military experience with NAVAIR or in sales to this customer.
• More than 5 years of experience in big data, hybrid IT, IT services, digital business, information security, AI, and intelligent edge is preferred.
• Active Government Security clearance is preferred; must be eligible for a Security Clearance if not currently held.
• Demonstrated track record of managing and surpassing quotas in sales positions.
• Capable of managing existing accounts while emphasizing the acquisition and development of new business.
• Experience in the IT sector is essential.
• Familiarity with Federal funding and contracting processes is necessary.
• Knowledge of developments and trends in the IT industry.
• Understanding of HPE’s products, solutions, and service offerings.
• Ability to lead dispersed and indirect teams within a complex matrix organization.
• Proficient in relationship building, influencing, negotiating, strategic planning, sales execution, consulting, and business acumen.
