This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in District of Columbia, +6 more states.
• Oversee Federal Government Land Mobile Radio service contracts to ensure services are delivered successfully.
• Build and nurture essential relationships within major customer accounts.
• Enhance managed service product sales across various customer-account tiers.
• Work in conjunction with Sales Account Management, Pre-sale, and Post-sale teams.
• Formulate business growth objectives, account service strategies, individual targets, and customer satisfaction initiatives.
• Meet P&L targets, including service billing and cost/margin performance.
• Promote Motorola service capabilities through Federal Systems Technologists, Federal Repair Depot, Authorized Service Subcontractors, and National System Support services.
• Ensure adherence to US Federal Government Markets Division and Motorola Solutions contracting standards and policies.
• Sustain customer satisfaction through collaboration with the United States Navy Program Management team and other relevant accounts.
• Offer support across various time zones and some global locations.
• Assist with contract management, billing/receivables, P&L tracking, and contract proficiency tasks.
• Market and manage service support contracts for Project 25 and related wireless technologies.
• Establish and maintain customer relationships, deliver presentations, and finalize service support sales opportunities.
• Acquaint yourself with service products, devise innovative proposals, deliver customer presentations, and create collaborative strategies with sales and support teams.
• Willingness to travel 25%-50% of the time.
• Bachelor's Degree OR 5+ years of experience in LMR, Public Safety, Project Coordination, Project Management, Account Management, Customer Support, or Technical Services Sales with large Government customers.
• 5+ years of proven experience in lifecycle service account management, systems implementation/integration, LMR sales, or LMR engineering preferred.
• Must be capable of passing a Federal Background Check.
• Proficient in Microsoft business applications, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Above-average Excel skills for tracking project revenue and margins.
• Familiarity with pivot tables is required.
• Ability to effectively use Oracle and Salesforce applications.
• Must be a US Citizen with the capability to obtain US Government clearance(s).
• Legal authorization to work indefinitely in the U.S. is required.
• Employer work permit sponsorship is not available.
• Experience with the performance of US Federal Government contracts is advantageous.
• Familiarity with Motorola RF systems and products is a plus.
• Must meet eligibility criteria for access to classified and sensitive information.
• Willingness to travel 25%-50% of the time.
