FCCA Finance & Consolidation Analyst – Contract

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.

📋 Description

• Assist in the comprehensive monthly closing process using Oracle FCCS, ensuring adherence to deadlines and quality standards.

• Conduct data validations within the consolidation system, detecting and addressing discrepancies prior to close sign-off.

• Oversee intercompany clearance in collaboration with local and regional finance teams.

• Aid local finance teams in the preparation, entry, and review of manual adjustments within the system.

• Serve as the primary contact for close-related system and data concerns, identifying root causes and coordinating solutions.

• Collaborate with IT and system administrators regarding recurring or complex technical issues, escalating as necessary.

• Supervise data loads, mappings, and interfaces that feed into FCCS, identifying and resolving exceptions.

• Contribute to enhancing closing processes and controls through initiatives aimed at efficiency and standardization.

• Provide updates and communication regarding status to Group Finance, Regional Controllers, and local teams throughout the closing cycle.

⛳️ Requirements

• Background in finance with a solid grasp of month-end closing and consolidation processes.

• Practical experience working with Oracle FCCS (Financial Consolidation and Close) in a live closing environment.

• Hands-on experience with intercompany reconciliation and clearance procedures.

• Capability to identify, investigate, and resolve data and system issues under tight deadlines.

• Strong analytical abilities with meticulous attention to detail and a systematic approach to data validation.

• Comfortable collaborating directly with local and regional finance teams, offering clear guidance and support.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, capable of explaining system issues to non-technical stakeholders.

• Positive and proactive mindset, able to manage competing priorities during peak closing periods.
