Family Nurse Practitioner

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in District of Columbia, +4 more states.

📋 Description

• Conduct patient consultations through telehealth visits, which include telephonic triage calls, video appointments, and email follow-ups.

• Engage in ongoing education through weekly Clinical Rounds and various learning methods.

• Collaborate with both virtual and in-office colleagues during daily huddles.

• Leverage specialized clinical training to deliver outstanding virtual patient care.

• Support One Medical’s mission of providing evidence-based, accessible primary care through virtual clinical services.

⛳️ Requirements

• Completed an accredited Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) program with national certification.

• In the last 5 years, have at least 2 years of experience as an Advanced Practitioner in an outpatient primary care setting, seeing patients of all ages (0+), or have 2 years of experience in an urgent care or emergency medicine setting with patients of all ages (0+).

• Currently licensed in DC, MD, VA, or FL, with the ability to acquire additional state licenses.

• For Florida: must have achieved Autonomous APRN status.

• For Virginia: must have autonomous practice capability.

• Availability to work on weekdays and weekends, including every other Saturday and/or Sunday.

• Flexibility to work current shifts that range from 6 am–5 pm ET, 11 am–10 pm ET, or 1 pm–12 am ET.

• Outstanding clinical and communication abilities.

• Clinical expertise in evidence-based primary care.

• Proficient in utilizing technology to provide high-quality care.

• Skilled in offering care and communicating effectively with individuals from diverse backgrounds.

• Adept at navigating uncertain situations and adjusting approaches to meet patient needs.

• Authorized to work in the United States.
