This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Wisconsin.
β’ Conduct thorough medical histories, virtual assessments, and clinical evaluations for obesity and metabolic disorders.
β’ Create personalized weight-management treatment plans utilizing evidence-based approaches, including nutrition advice, exercise recommendations, behavioral strategies, pharmacotherapy, and referrals when necessary.
β’ Provide continuous virtual longitudinal care, routine follow-ups, and chronic disease management focused on obesity and metabolic health.
β’ Order and interpret diagnostic tests essential for obesity treatment and metabolic monitoring.
β’ Ensure all documentation is completed in a timely, accurate, and clinically appropriate manner in compliance with Aurora Health Care policy.
β’ Adhere to Aurora Health Care's virtual-care standards, clinical protocols, and regulatory requirements.
β’ Advocate for and educate patients through supportive counseling, motivation, and collaborative decision-making.
β’ Offer compassionate, culturally sensitive care to a diverse adult demographic.
β’ Engage in quality improvement initiatives, service excellence efforts, outcomes-driven program development, program meetings, case discussions, and ongoing clinical improvement activities.
β’ Follow access and productivity standards to guarantee timely, convenient virtual care availability.
β’ Implement standardized evidence-based protocols for obesity treatment.
β’ Collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary care team that includes dietitians, behavioral health professionals, pharmacists, and care coordinators.

β’ Assess patient outcomes and integrate current scientific evidence to enhance practice continuously.
β’ Communicate proficiently through virtual platforms with patients, families, and care team members.
β’ Understand and leverage health system resources to provide high-value, coordinated virtual obesity care.
β’ A minimum of three to five years of relevant experience.
β’ Board certification in family medicine or internal medicine.
β’ Board Certification or Board Eligible in Obesity/Weight Management is mandatory.
β’ Maintenance of Certification is required according to applicable board standards.
β’ Experience in virtual care is preferred.
β’ Strong preference for experience with obesity pharmacotherapy.
β’ Demonstrates the knowledge and skills necessary to provide age-appropriate care for adults aged 18 years and older.
