Facility Technician

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Contribute to the assessment, inventory, and maintenance of extensive facility campuses by managing and evaluating real property data.

• Collaborate with clients and team members to devise strategies for facilities repair and maintenance.

• Perform thorough on-site visual evaluations of Real Property Installed Equipment and related facility systems and components.

• Assess operational efficiency, capacity, and remaining lifespan.

• Utilize proprietary software tools on computers, iPads, or tablets for inputting, validating, and maintaining facility condition assessment data.

• Ensure data integrity through systematic updates, validations, and comprehensive reporting.

• Produce inventory condition reports and technical updates for facilities included in the client portfolio.

• Work in conjunction with both internal and external teams to achieve project objectives and deadlines.

• Comply with industry and company standards.

• Independently manage schedules, deadlines, inquiries, concerns, and reporting responsibilities with minimal supervision.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over two years of relevant experience.

• Practical experience in Commercial Plumbing, HVAC, Structural, or Electrical Systems.

• Prior experience in evaluating commercial or government property using computerized systems.

• Background in the construction or maintenance industries.

• Proficient in the Microsoft Office Suite.

• Strong communication and time management skills.

• Excellent analytical and critical thinking capabilities.

• Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.

• Must qualify for a government Position of Trust (Tier 1 level investigation).

• High school diploma is required.

• U.S. citizenship is mandatory for the contract.

• Willingness and ability to travel up to 60% of the year, including multi-day trips across the United States.

• Preferred certifications include NCCER, NICET, HVAC, Carpentry, OSHA 10-Hour, or BPI.
