This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Oversee and evaluate programs that assist federal personnel in managing provider-facility compliance.
• Organize, schedule, and document inspections and assessments of facilities.
• Keep systematic records of inspection materials and communications.
• Assess inspection documentation and technical materials to ensure conformity with building codes, life safety regulations, licensing standards, and industry norms.
• Monitor, track, and document corrective actions and evidence of closure.
• Develop technical summaries, monitoring reports, and briefing documents.
• Analyze monitoring results to detect trends, recurring compliance problems, and operational risks.
• Offer data-driven recommendations for enhancements to federal staff.
• Maintain comprehensive records of notes, tools, trackers, communications, and monitoring artifacts in designated repositories like SharePoint.
• Provide technical advice and compliance assistance regarding care provider facilities, safety, and physical plant operations.
• Bachelor's degree in Facilities Management, Public Administration, or a related discipline.
• Minimum of 4 years of relevant work experience.
• Experience in evaluating physical facilities and building systems, including mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC, in accordance with federal, state, and local regulations and legal codes.
• Background in facilities management or building inspection.
• Knowledge of permits, inspection reports, compliance evaluations, and service and maintenance documentation.
• Previous experience with life safety standards or emergency preparedness is advantageous.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Willingness to travel frequently, including trips to designated sites up to 25% of the time.
• Possession of an existing MBI T2 Public Trust or the capability to obtain one.
• Proficient in building codes, building inspections, facility management, life safety codes, and regulatory compliance.
• US citizenship is not required.
