This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Australia.
β’ Act as the main on-site representative for the daily management of key assets and related equipment in Western Australia.
β’ Supervise building services such as fire protection systems, electrical systems, HVAC, elevators, access control, and intelligent building systems.
β’ Coordinate with tenants, property managers, the Head of Engineering and Operations Services, contractors, and various stakeholders.
β’ Analyze energy, water, and waste consumption data to identify opportunities for operational and sustainability enhancements.
β’ Manage the procurement and tendering processes for contractors involved in planned preventative maintenance contracts and capital projects.
β’ Perform inspections of common areas, building exteriors, lobbies, parking lots, fire escape routes, and hallways; organize defect and hazard rectification.
β’ Keep building documentation, logbooks, induction manuals, risk registers, and compliance records up to date.
β’ Implement and oversee the performance of security services and cleaning contractors.
β’ Program building systems, access permissions, public holiday time clocks, and after-hours air conditioning schedules.
β’ Ensure adherence to contractor inductions, training, permits, building regulations, and safety protocols.
β’ Proven experience in facilities management, particularly in overseeing multi-story commercial properties and their intricate building systems, including fire safety, electrical, HVAC, and building automation.
β’ Established history in contractor management, encompassing procurement, tendering, performance evaluation, and compliance with contractual obligations and service level agreements.
β’ In-depth understanding of health, safety, and environmental regulations at the national, state, and local levels.
β’ Outstanding interpersonal and communication abilities when engaging with tenants, clients, contractors, and internal stakeholders.
β’ Capacity to evaluate and manage risks related to building operations, implement control measures, and respond efficiently to emergencies on a 24/7 basis.
β’ Proficient in computer skills, including facilities management systems, building automation platforms, and the Microsoft Office suite.
β’ Strong organizational capabilities with the ability to prioritize competing demands, manage multiple assets, and maintain precise documentation and reporting.
β’ Relevant tertiary qualifications in facilities management, property services, engineering, or a related field (preferred).
