Facilities Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Pakistan.

📋 Description

• Supervise the daily operations of the facility, encompassing maintenance, security, cleaning, and vendor oversight.

• Ensure adherence to U.S. health, safety, and environmental standards, including OSHA regulations and local codes.

• Manage the facility's budgets, expenses, and initiatives aimed at cost control.

• Organize preventive and corrective maintenance schedules.

• Plan, initiate, and oversee facility enhancement, renovation, and relocation projects from inception to completion.

• Develop project scopes, timelines, budgets, and resource allocations.

• Collaborate with contractors, architects, engineers, and internal stakeholders.

• Monitor project milestones, identify potential risks, and apply mitigation strategies.

• Prepare and deliver project status updates to senior management.

• Source, negotiate, and manage contracts with vendors and service providers.

• Assess vendor performance and ensure compliance with service level agreements.

• Oversee facility staff, custodial teams, and maintenance personnel.

• Provide training and mentorship to team members on safety protocols and best practices.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 3–5 years of practical facility management experience within the United States is required.

• Proven project management experience, including managing budgets, timelines, and cross-functional teams.

• In-depth knowledge of U.S. building codes, OSHA regulations, and building systems such as HVAC, electrical, and plumbing.

• Proficient in facility management software and project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Asana, Trello).

• Prior experience in facility management in the United States is necessary for interview consideration.

• Confirmable U.S.-based facility management experience is required to advance to the interview stage.
