Facilities Condition Assessor

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Maine, +1 more state.

📋 Description

• Perform thorough on-site visual evaluations of Real Property Installed Equipment along with facility systems and components.

• Assess operational efficiency, capacity, and anticipated remaining lifespan.

• Utilize proprietary software applications on computers, iPads, or tablets for data entry, validation, and upkeep of facility condition assessment records.

• Guarantee data integrity through regular updates and validations.

• Produce inventory condition reports and technical updates for newly incorporated facilities.

• Collaborate with both internal and external teams to achieve project objectives and timelines.

• Comply with industry regulations and company standards.

• Travel throughout the Northeast United States, from Fayetteville, North Carolina, to Portsmouth, Maine.

⛳️ Requirements

• Exceptional communication and time management abilities.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.

• Advanced Excel proficiency, including formula creation and pivot table utilization.

• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.

• Capability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.

• Prior experience in the construction or maintenance fields is mandatory.

• Must qualify for a DoD Position of Trust (Tier 1 level investigation).

• A high school diploma is required.

• At least one year of technical experience in conducting assessments and analyses of systems and components related to facilities and structures within real property assets (preferred).

• Experience in carpentry, plumbing, HVAC systems, electrical systems, or related fields is advantageous.

• Certifications in construction technologies such as NCCER, NICET, HVAC, Carpentry, OSHA 10-Hour, or BPI are preferred.

• Must be eligible to work on a contract that requires U.S. citizenship.
