F5 BIG-IP Consultant

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.

📋 Description

• Comprehensive design, configuration, and deployment of F5 BIG-IP solutions encompassing LTM, DNS, ASM/AWAF, APM, and AFM.

• Client-facing delivery that spans from scoping and solution design to performing health checks, migrations, and in-depth troubleshooting.

• Development of iRules, configuration of security and access policies, and transitioning to new architectures.

• Acting as the trusted technical advisor for clients, simplifying intricate F5 concepts into actionable insights for stakeholders.

• Identifying opportunities for improvement within a client's infrastructure and confidently communicating those insights.

⛳️ Requirements

• Robust, hands-on experience with BIG-IP across various modules; this role is intended for a generalist rather than a single-module specialist.

• Proven experience in client-facing consulting or engineering roles, rather than solely in internal operations.

• Familiarity with the OSI model, TCP/IP, authentication protocols (such as SAML, Kerberos, RADIUS, etc.), and the web/network technologies that work in conjunction with BIG-IP.

• Strong ability to articulate your ideas and present them clearly in front of clients.

• Eligibility to work in the UK without requiring visa sponsorship, both now and in the foreseeable future.
