Expert Witness Research Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ohio.

📋 Description

• Perform Testimonial History and Party History investigations utilizing court documents, internal resources, external sources, and legal research tools.

• Oversee the entire process for Expert Witness Search requests.

• Provide clear, concise, accurate, timely, and comprehensive communication to clients.

• Implement established standards throughout the order management process.

• Gather customer feedback and assist in resolving support issues.

• Accurately complete Testimonial History and Party History search orders while adhering to turnaround time targets.

• Cross-train and assist with other research queues, such as JV, ID’ing, ECR, and Request Entry.

• Leverage AI-enabled tools within legal research workflows and utilize professional judgment to ensure results are accurate, relevant, and complete.

• Collaborate and communicate effectively with the team to meet quality and turnaround goals.

⛳️ Requirements

• Juris Doctor (JD), paralegal certification, or equivalent education or experience showcasing significant legal research proficiency.

• Familiarity with the US court system and legal terminology.

• Strong research, critical thinking, and written communication abilities.

• Availability to work 40 hours per week, from Monday to Friday.

• Capability to deliver exceptional customer service and address customer concerns during the initial interaction whenever feasible.

• Proficiency in Windows, Microsoft Office, internet research, and basic PC troubleshooting.

• Experience using AI-enabled tools for legal research, including selecting the right tools and critically assessing AI-generated outcomes.

• Ability to apply business judgment to comprehend the impact on customer satisfaction, including Net Promoter Score (NPS).

• Familiarity with Lexis Advance, Lexis+, or comparable legal research platforms is a plus.

• Willingness and ability to learn new products, including Party History Search.
