Expert Java Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Netherlands.

• Contribute to enhancing the development and build processes.

• Design and create production-grade, enterprise-level systems utilizing messaging and microservices.

• Engage in Java implementation for a microservices solution.

• Develop dependable, fast, scalable, and secure backend code that meets requirements and service-level agreements.

• Create OAuth authentication mechanisms.

• Implement validation processes through unit and integration testing.

• Assist with system deployment and configuration.

• Establish CI/CD pipelines.

• Work with Kubernetes and Docker.

• Adhere to Scrum practices and disciplines.

• Estimate work requests.

• Produce technical documentation.

• Apply secure coding standards and integrate logging and auditing functionalities.

• Communicate effectively with colleagues and upper management when necessary.

• Write clean, secure, and high-quality code.

• Collaborate effectively within a team.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 15 years of experience in IT.

• More than 9 years of expertise in Java Backend Development, including REST APIs, RDBMs, microservices, CI/CD pipelines, and BDD.

• Proven experience with at least two production-ready solutions developed in Java using Vert.X.

• Familiarity with more than two production-ready solutions utilizing Apache NiFi 2.0.

• Experience with at least one production-ready solution employing TensorFlow and TensorFlow Java bindings.

• Background in more than one production-ready project that follows the OAUTH standard.

• More than two years of experience in an international or multi-cultural setting.

• Over three years of experience in an Agile/Scrum environment.

• Strong knowledge of Apache Camel, including Enterprise Integration patterns and messaging patterns with ActiveMQ or RabbitMQ.

• Solid understanding of Java with experience in Spring Boot 3 and Vert.X.

• Comprehensive knowledge of back-end component design and development, covering REST APIs, integrations, and microservices.

• Proficient in writing unit tests for Java applications.

• Good grasp of software development methodologies, particularly Agile.

• Competent in programming with SQL Server databases using T-SQL.

• Familiarity with OOP paradigms and SOLID principles.

• Strong understanding of the OAuth standard.

• Ability to function as part of an Agile team implementing Scrum.

• Good knowledge of Kafka Stream architecture.

• Practical experience with Git, including pull request processes.
