Experienced Liability and Property Claims Handler

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in France.

📋 Description

• Receive and document claim notifications.

• Manage claims independently from initiation to closure, including subrogation and recovery efforts.

• Review supporting documentation within the file and assess applicable policy coverage.

• Establish liability.

• Process indemnity claims and ensure timely follow-up within required deadlines.

• Collaborate with brokers and industry professionals to finalize the file.

• Handle payments to the insured.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of a two-year post-secondary qualification in insurance or law.

• At least 3 years of professional experience as a Claims Handler, specifically in Liability and Property Damage.

• Proficiency in IRSI and CIDECOP agreements and a solid understanding of general civil law principles.

• Strong knowledge of insurance products.

• Ability to work independently and possess strong problem-solving skills.

• Proficient in IT tools.

• Excellent written communication skills.

• Highly organized with good interpersonal skills and a collaborative team approach.

• Familiarity with Legal Protection insurance is a plus.

• Proficiency in English is advantageous.
