This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Turkey.
• Execute thorough client intake procedures, which encompass initial screenings, phone communications, emails, and the gathering of necessary documentation for attorney evaluation.
• Prepare and finalize family-based immigration petitions and applications, including I-130, I-485, I-765, I-131, I-751, N-400, K-1 fiancé(e) visa cases, as well as consular processing/DS-260 issues.
• Assemble supporting evidence packages and organize documents for submission to USCIS, the National Visa Center, U.S. Embassies and Consulates, and other pertinent government entities.
• Compose cover letters, client declarations, correspondence, responses, and other legal documents for attorney assessment.
• Support attorneys with Requests for Evidence (RFEs), Notices of Intent to Deny (NOIDs), and other communications from USCIS.
• Perform legal and factual research related to family-based immigration issues.
• Maintain consistent communication with clients, offer case updates, request missing documentation, and address client questions.
• Track case statuses, filing deadlines, biometrics appointments, interviews, and other critical case milestones.
• Keep accurate and well-organized client files, case records, and internal databases.
• Collaborate with attorneys and team members to ensure cases are prepared correctly and submitted punctually.
• Write informative content and blog articles concerning family immigration topics as needed.
• A degree in law or a related discipline, with a preference for a background in immigration law.
• A minimum of 1 year of experience dealing with U.S. immigration matters in a U.S. law firm.
• Preferred substantial experience in family-based immigration.
• Practical experience with family immigration petitions and applications such as I-130, I-485, I-751, K-1, N-400, and consular processing.
• Knowledge of USCIS and NVC procedures as well as immigration case documentation requirements.
• Proficiency in both Turkish and English.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities.
• Strong organizational and case-management skills, capable of handling multiple cases and deadlines concurrently.
• Excellent client communication skills and a knack for working with clients from various cultural backgrounds.
• Keen attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and other standard computer applications.
• Capability to work independently in a remote setting with a reliable internet connection and computer.
• Remote work arrangement.
• Work hours between 09:00 and 17:00 U.S. Central Time.
