This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Oregon.

📋 Description

• Provide comprehensive oversight from the initial stages of the project through its launch and subsequent support.

• Establish delivery strategies, governance frameworks, staffing plans, milestone structures, and project goals.

• Ensure production leadership adheres to realistic timelines, execution strategies, and provides transparent reporting.

• Collaborate with Lead Producers to eliminate obstacles and facilitate successful delivery.

• Foster accountability across Engineering, Art, Design, QA, Production, and support teams.

• Act as the executive liaison for publishing and development partners.

• Cultivate trusted relationships with client leadership.

• Lead executive business reviews and milestone discussions.

• Manage delivery expectations and negotiate scope adjustments in collaboration with studio leadership.

• Resolve escalated issues related to production, finances, and relationships.

• Oversee the overall financial performance of projects.

• Monitor budgets, forecasts, resource utilization, burn rate, and profitability.

• Collaborate with Finance to ensure accurate forecasting and reporting.

• Make staffing and scope recommendations that safeguard project health and business goals.

• Mentor Senior Producers and Project Managers.

• Work alongside discipline leaders on staffing strategies and organizational planning.

• Encourage sustainable production practices and a positive team culture.

• Support hiring efforts, succession planning, and leadership development initiatives.

• Identify risks related to scheduling, staffing, technical aspects, finances, and quality.

• Drive risk mitigation planning across various departments.

• Escalate critical issues with clear recommendations and options for decisions.

• Contribute to studio planning and operational enhancements.

• Assist in establishing production standards and best practices.

• Engage in strategic planning and long-term business initiatives.


⛳️ Requirements

• Over 10 years of professional experience in game development.

• At least 5 years of experience leading large-scale game development projects.

• Experience with multiple shipped console, PC, or live service titles.

• Strong background in financial and resource planning.

• Proven success in managing relationships with publishers or external development teams.

• Exceptional communication, leadership, and negotiation abilities.

• Experience in leading cross-functional teams through all stages of development.
