This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Connecticut, +2 more states.
• Act as a trusted advisor to Senior Vice Presidents, Executive Vice Presidents, and Chief Supply Chain Officers from Global 1000 companies and government entities.
• Oversee relationships with up to 25–30 senior executive members.
• Engage in account planning alongside Customer Success Managers and Senior Account Executives throughout the member lifecycle.
• Carry out sales-team transitions, engage members meaningfully, create member profiles, determine agendas, develop value plans, take part in quarterly account reviews, and organize value-added meetings.
• Aid in member retention and regional expansion through prospect development, account planning, and value demonstration.
• Encourage member involvement in research studies and case panels.
• Collaborate with research analysts to produce and present research relevant to Chief Supply Chain Officers.
• Define and provide tailored solutions based on client requirements and Gartner's Supply Chain strategy.
• Enhance clients' supply chain maturity through research, peer networking, and coaching.
• Evaluate client strategies, guide organizational growth, and assist with supply chain strategy, prioritization, and implementation planning.
• Maintain relationships with internal teams to develop sustainable client deliverables.
• Direct and lead member peer-group discussions and meetings.
• Engage in presentations and relevant research communities.
• Promote member interaction through the Supply Chain member community portal and facilitate member connections.
• Lead and contribute to on-site and virtual roundtables and Gartner Executive Series Webex events.
• Senior business leader with proven expertise in developing and executing comprehensive Supply Chain strategies, transformations, and performance enhancements within the High-Tech sector.
• Current or previous Senior Vice President, Executive Vice President of Supply Chain, or Chief Supply Chain Officer.
• Experience overseeing a significant profit and loss statement, managing direct reports, and handling a considerable number of associates.
• Extensive knowledge of Supply Chain Strategy and experience in driving change across all organizational levels.
• Bachelor's degree; a Master's degree is preferred.
• Over 15 years of experience in a senior management position such as Chief Supply Chain Officer, Senior Vice President, Executive Vice President, or Chief Operating Officer within a Supply Chain executive-level role; or 5+ years in such a role plus an additional 5+ years in another Supply Chain executive position.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with C-level executives.
• Strong reflective listening capabilities and the ability to adapt to client cues and requirements.
• Profound understanding of the Supply Chain industry and the role of a Chief Supply Chain Officer, encompassing leadership, operations management, strategy and trends, and performance metrics.
• Comprehensive knowledge of the business value of Supply Chains and the alignment of Business and Supply Chain strategies.
• Critical thinking and problem-solving abilities to offer actionable, outcome-oriented business advice.
• Capacity to leverage Gartner and other resources to assist clients in achieving business outcomes.
• Ability to navigate and lead through ambiguous situations.
• Superior skills in verbal and written communication, facilitation, and presentation.
