📋 Description

• Take ownership of one of five GPO Delivery pods and manage its overall delivery performance across designated accounts.

• Direct the execution strategy for the pod’s entire portfolio of accounts while also managing a select group of strategic accounts.

• Supervise contract performance management, utilization, and value realization across various categories and accounts.

• Utilize technology, AI, Power BI partnerships, MVE, and other analytical resources to formulate strategic recommendations and model contracting scenarios.

• Present analytical insights and influence decisions with member executives, physicians, and clinicians.

• Ensure the completion of annual growth forecasts and business reviews for each account.

• Hold the pod accountable for comprehensive member data submissions and precise analytics along with GPO growth and penetration tracking.

• Act as the primary liaison and coordinator for GPO-related activities between Supply Chain and Premier.

• Build trust-based relationships with senior member supply chain executives and leaders.

• Lead strategic initiatives and discussions at the executive level to align goals, resolve conflicts, and uncover opportunities.

• Provide guidance to stakeholders regarding GPO contracting, portfolio subject matter experts (SMEs), and Premier.

• Involve physicians and clinicians when clinical alignment is necessary.

• Collaborate with COE leadership, account coaches, Rx, Food, and Portfolio Advisors.

• Align supply chain and pharmacy objectives between members and Premier.

• Hold the team accountable to KPIs and targets related to contract growth, penetration, and member savings/value.

• Recruit, coach, develop, and manage the performance of the pod; take charge of talent calibration and succession planning.

• Mentor the team and promote standardization, continuous improvement, and organizational change.

• Address the pod’s most complex client and internal challenges as the escalation point.

• Personally oversee strategic accounts in this proactive account-management leadership position.


⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 10 years of relevant experience.

• Bachelor’s degree is mandatory.

• At least 12 years of experience in account management, category management, sourcing/contracting, or healthcare supply chain leadership.

• Proven ability to analyze complex data and communicate insights effectively to C-suite executives, physicians, and clinicians.

• Extensive expertise in GPO contract lifecycle management and performance optimization at an enterprise or portfolio level.

• Exceptional leadership, facilitation, and influencing capabilities with a polished executive presence.

• Experience managing people at scale, including hiring, coaching, and developing a team of 10 or more.

• Background in leading organizational change and continuous improvement across a multi-account portfolio.

• Capability to operate with complete autonomy, manage competing priorities within a team, and mentor others.

• Resilience and resourcefulness; able to perform well under ambiguity.

• Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.

• Familiarity with Salesforce and analytics platforms, including Power BI and AI-enabled tools.

• Ability to remain in a stationary position for extended periods.

• Flexibility to quickly adapt and change priorities while meeting deadlines.

• Strong attention to detail.

• Competency in operating computer programs and software.

• Effective communication skills with audiences both in person and electronically.

• Ability to work collaboratively in close quarters with peers and manage varying interruptions.

• Capacity to make independent decisions.

• Willingness to travel 21–40% within the US.
