Executive Construction Advisory Board Member

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Deliver an executive viewpoint on the construction labor market, including hiring conditions, compensation trends, and workforce limitations.

• Provide insights into contractor expansion, backlog growth, regional scaling, and risks associated with workforce-dependent execution.

• Assist in validating research related to the construction labor market, compensation benchmarks, and workforce forecasts.

• Engage in executive discussions concerning labor availability, retention strategies, organizational growth, and scaling operations.

• Offer a practical interpretation of emerging conditions in the construction market and workforce landscape.

• Contribute to executive workforce briefings, industry reports, research initiatives, and publications related to market intelligence.

• Advise on leadership hiring trends, organizational bottlenecks, succession planning, and strategies for workforce management.

• Provide insights into the operational effects of labor shortages and compensation pressures.

• Assist in identifying workforce risks that could impact project delivery, profitability, and contractor performance.

• Collaborate with AlphaHire's research, advisory, and industry leadership teams to enhance construction workforce intelligence.

• Take part in private executive roundtables, construction workforce research initiatives, strategic advisory discussions, labor market studies, executive surveys, market intelligence efforts, industry reports, publications, and select advisory engagements.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 10 years of leadership experience in commercial construction, infrastructure, mission-critical construction, industrial construction, renewable energy, specialty contracting, or a related field.

• Current or prior senior leadership roles such as President, COO, Executive Vice President, VP of Operations, Division Executive, Regional Executive, General Manager, Operations Executive, Preconstruction Executive, Senior Project Executive, or similar construction leadership positions.

• Strong grasp of construction workforce planning, labor constraints, hiring strategies, operational scaling, and project execution.

• Proven experience managing multiple projects, large operational teams, regional business units, or significant construction programs.

• Capacity to provide practical insights derived from direct experience in construction industry leadership.

• Experience dealing with labor shortages, compensation pressures, employee retention challenges, rapid growth, or regional expansion is highly preferred.

• Required direct leadership experience in the construction industry.

• An interest in workforce forecasting, operational analytics, construction market intelligence, or industry research is preferred.
