This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in North Carolina.
• Propel the adoption and continuous use of Medtronic’s AI-driven GI Genius platform.
• Collaborate with enterprise health systems, MSOs, IDNs, hospitals, ambulatory surgery centers, and physician practices.
• Facilitate technology integration, clinical adoption, and realization of long-term value.
• Lead sales and market development initiatives at the enterprise customer level.
• Increase utilization of the installed base and share best practices with the broader commercial team.
• Meet and surpass monthly, quarterly, and yearly sales targets.
• Manage complex sales cycles involving multiple stakeholders, executive negotiations, and enterprise contracts.
• Act as a commercial authority in Software as a Medical Device (SaMD).
• Stay informed about healthcare AI trends, competitive dynamics, and macroeconomic factors influencing AI adoption.
• Establish GI Genius as the leading AI platform through narratives of clinical, operational, and economic value.
• Design and implement growth strategies at the territory level.
• Work in conjunction with marketing, health economics, clinical, operations, and executive leadership.
• Share product, sales, and adoption best practices with the wider sales team.
• Cultivate and sustain relationships with health system leaders, physicians, administrators, and key opinion leaders at the executive level.
• Provide tailored workflow, economic, and clinical strategies for customers.
• Exhibit deep knowledge of GI Genius clinical evidence, disease pathways, algorithm development principles, and real-world performance data.
• Conduct clinical product demonstrations, offer physician training, and provide on-site support for adoption.
• Serve as a clinical and technical resource during evaluation, implementation, and post-installation optimization.
• Maintain CRM usage, pipeline management, forecasting accuracy, and visibility into opportunities.
• Complete necessary reporting, manage expenses, and ensure training compliance.
• Follow Medtronic policies, compliance standards, and the Code of Conduct.
• Travel to multiple accounts within the multi-state territory, including North Carolina, Virginia, West Virginia, and eastern Tennessee.
• High School Diploma (or equivalent) and 10+ years of relevant experience OR Associate's Degree and 8+ years OR Bachelor's Degree and 6+ years in sales, clinical, or related fields within medical devices, med tech, healthcare, or life sciences.
• Must reside within 50 miles of Charlotte, NC or Raleigh, NC.
• Minimum of 6+ years of relevant experience under the bachelor's degree pathway.
• Must have unrestricted U.S. work authorization at the time of hire and for the entirety of employment; sponsorship is not available for positions below the Principal level.
• A valid driver's license is required.
• Extensive travel is necessary, up to 75%.
• Experience in enterprise-level solution selling within healthcare technology, software (SaaS), or Software as a Medical Device (SaMD).
• A proven history of exceeding sales quotas and acknowledgment as a top performer.
• Experience in leading long-cycle, multi-stakeholder sales within IDNs, MSOs, hospitals, or ASC networks.
• Strong clinical and business insight.
• Experience in sales within procedural or physician-driven clinical settings.
• Ability to work independently, manage uncertainty, and lead cross-functional initiatives.
• Proficiency in Salesforce CRM and Microsoft O365.
• Exceptional written, verbal, and executive communication abilities.
• For degrees obtained outside of the United States, a degree meeting the requirements of 8 C.F.R. § 214.2(h)(4)(iii)(A) is necessary.
