This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in North Carolina.
• Accelerate the adoption and ongoing use of Medtronic’s AI-driven GI Genius™ platform.
• Collaborate with enterprise health systems, MSOs, IDNs, hospitals, ambulatory surgery centers, and physician practices.
• Promote technology integration, clinical adoption, and the realization of long-term value.
• Lead sales and market development initiatives at the enterprise customer level.
• Increase utilization of the installed base and disseminate best practices throughout the commercial organization.
• Coordinate internal cross-functional teams and external stakeholders to further strategic growth initiatives.
• Achieve and surpass monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
• Navigate complex, multi-stakeholder sales cycles, engage in executive-level negotiations, and manage enterprise contracts.
• Act as a commercial authority on Software as a Medical Device, including workflow integration, clinical adoption, utilization growth, and customer success.
• Stay updated on trends in artificial intelligence within healthcare, competitive dynamics, and macroeconomic factors influencing AI adoption.
• Position GI Genius as the leading AI platform through narratives focused on clinical, operational, and economic value.
• Formulate and implement territory-level growth strategies.
• Work in tandem with marketing, health economics, clinical, operations, and executive leadership.
• Share product, selling, and adoption best practices with the wider sales team.
• Establish and maintain relationships with health system executives, physicians, service line administrators, and key opinion leaders.
• Conduct clinical product demonstrations, provide physician education, and offer on-site adoption support.
• Serve as a reliable clinical and technical resource during evaluation, implementation, and post-installation optimization.
• Ensure effective CRM usage, pipeline management, forecasting accuracy, and opportunity visibility.
• Manage reporting, expense tracking, and training compliance.
• Follow Medtronic’s policies, compliance standards, and Code of Conduct.
• Travel up to 75% across a multi-state territory, including North Carolina, Virginia, West Virginia, and eastern Tennessee.
• High School Diploma (or equivalent) and 10+ years of relevant experience, OR Associate's Degree and 8+ years, OR Bachelor's Degree and 6+ years in sales, clinical, or related roles in medical devices, med tech, healthcare, or life sciences.
• Must reside within 50 miles of Charlotte, NC or Raleigh, NC.
• 10+ years of experience with a high school diploma, 8+ years with an associate degree, or 6+ years with a bachelor's degree.
• Unrestricted U.S. work authorization at the time of hire and throughout employment.
• 7+ years of experience in complex, quota-driven commercial roles, demonstrating consistent top-tier performance.
• Experience in enterprise-level solution selling within healthcare technology, software (SaaS), or Software as a Medical Device (SaMD).
• Proven history of surpassing sales quotas and recognition as a top performer.
• Experience in leading multi-stakeholder, long-cycle sales within IDNs, MSOs, hospitals, or ASC networks.
• Strong clinical and business acumen.
• Experience in selling within procedural or physician-driven clinical settings.
• Ability to work independently, manage ambiguity, and lead cross-functional projects.
• Proficiency in Salesforce CRM and Microsoft O365.
• Excellent written, verbal, and executive communication skills.
• For degrees obtained outside the United States, a degree that satisfies 8 C.F.R. § 214.2(h)(4)(iii)(A) is required.
