This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Connecticut, +2 more states.
• Accelerate the adoption and ongoing utilization of Medtronic’s AI-driven GI Genius platform.
• Collaborate with enterprise health systems, MSOs, IDNs, hospitals, ambulatory surgery centers, and physician practices.
• Propel technology integration, clinical adoption, and realization of long-term value.
• Lead sales and market development initiatives at the enterprise customer level.
• Enhance the usage of the installed base and share best practices across the wider commercial organization.
• Meet and surpass monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
• Manage complex sales cycles involving multiple stakeholders, executive negotiations, and enterprise contracts.
• Act as a commercial specialist in Software as a Medical Device (SaMD).
• Stay informed about healthcare AI trends, competitive landscapes, and macroeconomic factors affecting AI adoption.
• Position GI Genius as a leading AI platform through narratives focused on clinical, operational, and economic value.
• Formulate and implement territory-specific growth strategies.
• Work in partnership with marketing, health economics, clinical, operations, and executive leadership teams.
• Establish and maintain relationships with health system executives, physicians, administrators, and key opinion leaders.
• Provide customer-tailored workflow, economic, and clinical strategies.
• Exhibit in-depth knowledge of GI Genius clinical evidence, disease pathways, algorithm development principles, and real-world performance metrics.
• Conduct clinical product demonstrations, provide physician education, and offer on-site adoption assistance.
• Serve as a clinical and technical resource during evaluation, implementation, and post-installation optimization phases.
• Ensure proper CRM usage, manage pipelines, maintain forecasting accuracy, and ensure opportunity visibility.
• Complete reporting, manage expenses, and ensure training compliance.
• Comply with Medtronic policies, compliance standards, and the Code of Conduct.
• High School Diploma (or equivalent) with 10+ years of relevant experience, OR an Associate's Degree with 8+ years, OR a Bachelor's Degree with 6+ years of experience in sales, clinical, or related fields within medical devices, med tech, healthcare, or life sciences.
• Candidates must reside within the territory and travel to multiple accounts throughout the region.
• A valid driver's license is mandatory.
• Up to 75% travel is required.
• 9+ years of experience in complex, quota-driven commercial roles, demonstrating consistent top-tier performance.
• Experience in enterprise-level solution selling within healthcare technology, software (SaaS), or Software as a Medical Device (SaMD).
• A proven history of exceeding sales quotas and being recognized as a top performer.
• Experience in leading multi-stakeholder, long-cycle sales within IDNs, MSOs, hospitals, or ASC networks.
• Strong clinical and business acumen, with the ability to convey economic and operational value to executive audiences.
• Experience in selling within procedural or physician-driven clinical settings.
• Ability to work independently, navigate ambiguity, and lead cross-functional initiatives.
• Proficient in Salesforce CRM and Microsoft O365.
• Exceptional written, verbal, and executive communication skills.
• For degrees obtained outside the U.S., a degree satisfying 8 C.F.R. § 214.2(h)(4)(iii)(A) is required.
