This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada, +1 more country.
β’ Conduct research, assess, and propose tradeshows, conferences, and industry events that align with the Ideal Customer Profile (ICP) and revenue objectives.
β’ Maintain a dynamic 12-month event calendar.
β’ Cultivate and manage relationships with event organizers, vendors, and venue providers.
β’ Negotiate terms for sponsorships, booth spaces, speaking opportunities, and additional services.
β’ Plan and execute events from start to finish, covering booth design, shipping, promotional items, collateral, lead capture, audio-visual needs, catering, hotel arrangements, and travel logistics.
β’ Attend all events in person and act as the primary on-site contact.
β’ Oversee booth setup and dismantling, as well as troubleshoot any issues that arise during events.
β’ Prepare team members who are attending with objectives, key talking points, target accounts, and logistical details.
β’ Collaborate with sales to schedule pre-event meetings, host dinners and customer gatherings, and ensure timely capture, qualification, and follow-up on leads.
β’ Execute pre- and post-event marketing campaigns.
β’ Monitor event expenditures, forecast costs, manage budgets, and make informed trade-off decisions.
β’ Establish event key performance indicators (KPIs) and generate post-event reports detailing leads, meetings, pipeline, and return on investment (ROI).
β’ 1 to 4 years of experience in event marketing, field marketing, or event coordination, preferably in B2B or technology sectors.
β’ Proven history of organizing events from inception to completion.
β’ Experience in managing an events budget effectively.
β’ Capability to define KPIs and create reports linking event activities to pipeline and revenue.
β’ Specific experience utilizing AI to automate or enhance event marketing tasks; this is essential.
β’ Familiarity with HubSpot.
β’ Strong project management capabilities.
β’ Negotiation skills with vendors and event organizers.
β’ Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
β’ Ability to maintain composure and resolve problems under pressure.
β’ Willingness and capability to travel 30 to 50% during peak event seasons throughout North America.
β’ Must reside within approximately one hour of a major airport hub with frequent direct flights.
β’ Must possess the right to work in the country of residence; visa sponsorship is not available.
