This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States, +1 more country.
• Conduct research, assess, and suggest tradeshows, conferences, and industry events that align with the Ideal Customer Profile (ICP) and revenue objectives.
• Maintain a dynamic 12-month event calendar.
• Oversee interactions with event organizers, vendors, and venues; negotiate sponsorship deals, booth placements, speaking opportunities, and additional services.
• Plan and execute events from start to finish, encompassing booth design and logistics, promotional items, informational materials, lead capture mechanisms, badge scanners, audiovisual needs, catering, hotel accommodations, and team travel arrangements.
• Serve as the onsite point of contact at every event; handle booth setup and dismantling, and resolve any arising issues.
• Prepare team members attending the event by briefing them on goals, discussion points, target accounts, and logistical details.
• Collaborate with the sales team to schedule pre-event meetings, conduct dinners and customer events, capture and qualify leads, and ensure timely follow-ups.
• Execute pre- and post-event marketing campaigns that include email outreach, landing page creation, paid advertising, and social media initiatives.
• Oversee event expenditures, forecast costs, monitor budgets, and make informed trade-off decisions.
• Establish event Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and generate post-event reports that analyze leads, meetings, pipeline contributions, ROI, and areas for improvement.
• 1 to 4 years of experience in event marketing, field marketing, or event coordination, preferably in a B2B or technology context.
• Proven experience in managing events from conception to completion, even on a smaller scale.
• Experience in managing event budgets, including forecasting, tracking expenditures, and making ROI-related decisions.
• Proficient in defining KPIs and creating reports that link event activities to pipeline and revenue outcomes.
• Demonstrated ability to use AI tools to enhance or automate event marketing tasks; this is a requirement.
• Familiarity with HubSpot.
• Strong skills in project management.
• Comfortable negotiating terms with vendors and event organizers.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities.
• Ability to remain calm under pressure and effectively troubleshoot issues during events.
• Willingness and capability to travel 30 to 50% during peak event seasons throughout North America, with potential travel to Europe.
• Must reside within approximately an hour of a major airport hub that offers frequent direct flights.
• Must possess the right to work in the country of residence; visa sponsorship is not available.
