Events Manager – Offsites & Experiences

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Take ownership of the creative vision, organization, and implementation of two annual company-wide offsites for around 175 participants.

• Conduct research on venues, accommodations, dining options, activities, and entertainment.

• Develop schedules that balance team bonding, enjoyment of the destination, and company programming.

• Oversee the attendee experience from the initial announcement and travel guidance to arrival, programming, and return travel.

• Manage logistics including accommodations, transportation, vendors, meals, accessibility, contingency planning, and on-site execution.

• Handle a significant event budget.

• Generate enthusiasm and act as the primary point of contact, providing updates and responding to inquiries.

• Collect post-event feedback and continually enhance future experiences.

• Organize and execute smaller team offsites throughout the year, including GTM and engineering offsites.

• Support other company events and special projects, including logistics for marketing events.

• Minimum of 2 years in internal event planning or a comparable role that demands significant planning.

• Proven experience in producing memorable, high-touch events.

• Strong and friendly communication skills.

• Enjoy collaborating with individuals across the organization.

• Outstanding attention to detail.

• Ability to excel in a fast-paced environment with uncertainty.

• Capability to perform under pressure and navigate challenges effectively.

• Quick understanding of business objectives and translating them into memorable experiences.

• Enthusiasm and creativity in designing team activities.

• Proactive in identifying and resolving scheduling, travel, and project-related issues.

• Capability to integrate feedback into future events while maintaining the original vision.
