This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom, +3 more countries.
β’ Independently oversee and implement in-person events throughout EMEA and eventually APJ.
β’ Manage regional user conferences and third-party sponsorships that are under your purview.
β’ Direct all aspects of event logistics, including sourcing venues, negotiating contracts, coordinating with vendors, designing and setting up booths, and executing on-site operations.
β’ Maintain timelines, budgets, contracts, and communications with vendors for events.
β’ Ensure alignment and visibility among stakeholders.
β’ Establish and monitor metrics to evaluate event success.
β’ Provide post-event analysis and transform insights into enhancements for performance and ROI.
β’ Develop, review, and approve materials for events such as signage, collateral, presentations, and registration processes.
β’ Utilize AI and automation tools to enhance planning, execution, and reporting.
β’ Identify potential risks and resolve issues through immediate problem-solving and decision-making on-site.
β’ Collaborate with teams in marketing, sales, product, and regional divisions.
β’ Mentor junior team members, contractors, and agency partners while remaining actively involved.
β’ Residing in the UK, Netherlands, Sweden, or Germany.
β’ At least 4 years of direct experience in event management.
β’ Proven experience in independently managing hosted conferences from start to finish and running third-party conference sponsorships.
β’ Experience in sourcing venues, negotiating terms, and finalizing contracts.
β’ Experience with budget ownership and reconciliation.
β’ Proficient in vendor management.
β’ Experience in building registration processes.
β’ Demonstrated ability to lead on-site event execution and make spontaneous decisions independently.
β’ Willingness to travel by air approximately 40 percent of the time, including long-haul trips to APJ and occasional work across APJ/AMER time zones.
β’ A curious and adaptable mindset towards adopting marketing technologies, including AI-driven tools like Claude Code.
β’ Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities.
β’ Capable of working both independently and collaboratively in a dynamic environment.
β’ Skilled at managing multiple simultaneous events with competing deadlines and changing priorities.
β’ Proven track record in managing complex events with multiple stakeholders.
β’ Strong organizational and time management capabilities.
β’ Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.
β’ Proficient in Zuddl or similar registration platforms.
β’ Familiarity with Salesforce and Monday.com is preferred.
