πŸ“‹ Description

β€’ Manage and execute in-person events independently, including owned regional user conferences and third-party sponsorships across EMEA and eventually APJ.

β€’ Oversee end-to-end event logistics, which encompasses venue sourcing, negotiation, contracting, vendor coordination, booth design and setup, as well as on-site execution.

β€’ Take charge of event project management, including timelines, budgets, contracts, and communications with vendors.

β€’ Define and monitor event success metrics; provide post-event analysis and actionable insights to enhance performance and ROI.

β€’ Create, review, and approve event materials, signage, collateral, presentations, and registration experiences.

β€’ Develop and utilize AI and automation tools to enhance planning, execution, and reporting processes.

β€’ Identify potential risks and proactively resolve issues through real-time problem-solving and decision-making on-site.

β€’ Collaborate with marketing, sales, product, and regional teams.

β€’ Mentor junior team members, contractors, and agency partners while maintaining a hands-on approach.


⛳️ Requirements

β€’ Must be located in the UK, Netherlands, Sweden, or Germany.

β€’ A minimum of 4 years of direct experience in event management.

β€’ Proven experience in independently managing hosted conferences from start to finish and overseeing third-party conference sponsorships.

β€’ Proficient in venue sourcing, negotiation, contracting, budget management and reconciliation, vendor oversight, registration setup, on-site delivery, and post-event evaluation.

β€’ Experience serving as the primary on-site lead for in-person events.

β€’ Willingness to travel by air approximately 40 percent of the time, including long-haul trips to APJ and occasional work across APJ/AMER time zones.

β€’ Curiosity and adaptability in embracing marketing technologies, including AI-driven tools like Claude Code.

β€’ Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.

β€’ Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced setting.

β€’ Capability to manage multiple concurrent events with competing deadlines and shifting priorities.

β€’ Proven track record of managing complex, multi-stakeholder events.

β€’ Strong organizational and time management skills.

β€’ Effective problem-solving and decision-making abilities.

β€’ Proficient in Zuddl or similar registration platforms.

β€’ Familiarity with Salesforce and Monday.com is preferred.
