πŸ“‹ Description

β€’ Manage and execute in-person events independently across the EMEA region, with future expansion to APJ.

β€’ Oversee all aspects of event logistics from start to finish, including venue selection, negotiations, contracts, vendor coordination, booth design and setup, as well as on-site execution.

β€’ Take ownership of event project management encompassing timelines, budgets, contracts, and communications with vendors.

β€’ Establish and monitor event success metrics; provide post-event analysis along with actionable recommendations for improvement.

β€’ Develop, review, and approve event materials, signage, collateral, presentations, and registration experiences.

β€’ Utilize AI and automation tools to enhance planning, execution, and reporting processes.

β€’ Proactively identify risks and resolve issues through real-time problem-solving and decision-making on-site.

β€’ Collaborate with various teams including marketing, sales, product, and regional departments.

β€’ Mentor junior team members, contractors, and agency partners while maintaining a hands-on approach.


⛳️ Requirements

β€’ Must reside in the UK, Netherlands, Sweden, or Germany.

β€’ A minimum of 4 years of direct experience in event management.

β€’ Proven experience in independently managing hosted conferences and third-party conference sponsorships.

β€’ Familiarity with venue sourcing, negotiation, contract management, budget oversight and reconciliation, vendor management, registration setup, on-site execution, and post-event evaluation.

β€’ Experience serving as the primary on-site lead for in-person events.

β€’ Willingness to travel by air approximately 40 percent of the time, including long-haul trips to APJ and occasional work across APJ/AMER time zones.

β€’ A curious mindset and adaptability in leveraging marketing technologies, including AI-driven tools like Claude Code.

β€’ Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities.

β€’ Capability to work both independently and collaboratively in a dynamic environment.

β€’ Proficiency in managing multiple concurrent events with competing deadlines and shifting priorities.

β€’ Experience in orchestrating complex events with multiple stakeholders.

β€’ Strong organizational and time management capabilities.

β€’ Robust problem-solving skills and sound decision-making abilities.

β€’ Proficiency in Zuddl or similar registration platforms; familiarity with Salesforce and Monday.com is preferred.
