Events Assistant

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.

📋 Description

• Greet customers and establish a rapport to guarantee a pleasant roadshow experience.

• Oversee customer comfort, manage turn-taking, and address inquiries.

• Ensure uniform event quality, including banners, signage, refreshments, music, and other elements.

• Supervise venues on the event day and serve as the primary point of contact for venue-related queries.

• Collaborate with local venue teams and communicate health and safety information to buyers.

• Assist customers in understanding which items the company purchases and which it does not.

• Manage customer expectations through product assessment alongside Buyers.

• Provide compassionate support to customers in various personal situations.

• Cultivate relationships with internal colleagues and relay event feedback.

• Share best practices and contribute to the implementation and enforcement of new roadshow procedures.

⛳️ Requirements

• Prior experience in hospitality, retail, social work, or customer service.

• Experience in a customer-facing team dealing with a wide array of customers.

• Proficient in identifying customer issues or inquiries and explaining how they were resolved.

• Experience in organizing or assisting with customer-facing events.

• Outstanding communication skills.

• Ability to swiftly establish strong relationships with both colleagues and customers.

• Capability to clarify processes and information in a clear and simple manner.

• Willingness to share best practices and effective working methods between roadshows and operational sites.

• Availability to travel 1–2 hours daily for the position.

• Valid full UK Driving Licence.

• Flexibility to work on days ranging from Monday to Saturday.
