
Event Production, Client Success Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.
• Oversee the entire production process for designated conferences from the 180-day milestone until post-event closure.
• Facilitate milestone production meetings.
• Develop comprehensive run-of-show schedules and venue layouts.
• Manage room capacity in relation to final content and anticipated attendance.
• Supervise A/V teams regarding visual and audio production requirements.
• Review and oversee rental orders and vendor specifications.
• Recruit and coordinate temporary event personnel.
• Manage vendor contracts across various areas, including venue, catering, A/V, rentals, video, and photography.
• Oversee deadlines and ensure certificates of insurance are managed.
• Handle catering selections and final guarantees.
• Create and maintain event budgets while tracking costs as project scope evolves.
• Place orders for badges, programs, and signage.
• Organize shipping and staff travel arrangements.
• Produce virtual events using platforms such as Zoom.
• Serve as the primary contact for sponsors regarding event logistics.
• Manage sponsor deliverables, including advance materials, display-item shipping, and presentation media.
• Assign locations for sponsor tables.
• Verify sponsor and speaker registrations in accordance with the production plan.
• Conduct feedback calls post-event.
• Contribute to renewal rates and enhance customer satisfaction scores.
• A minimum of a 4-year college/university degree.
• Strong academic credentials.
• At least 3 years of full-time, post-graduation professional experience.
• Proven experience in producing complex events, including corporate or marketing events, executive gatherings, conferences, trade shows, festivals, or arts events.
• Responsibility for ensuring successful event delivery.
• Experience serving as a designated point of contact for external clients, sponsors, or partners.
• Background in working in-house at a corporation in some capacity during your career.
• Experience managing multiple concurrent events with strict deadlines.
• Proven track record of owning event budgets and vendor contracts.
• Familiarity with project management tools such as ClickUp, Asana, or Monday as daily operational tools.
• Exceptional organizational and time management abilities.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Willingness to travel frequently for events.
