Event Marketing Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Collaborate with Sales, Business Development, and business lines to develop the annual event portfolio.

• Conduct research and assess relevant trade shows, conferences, communities, and industry networks based on their relevance to the target audience, market potential, and business impact.

• Assume complete responsibility for chosen events, encompassing planning, budgeting, scheduling, vendor management, and execution.

• Integrate events into broader marketing and business development initiatives.

• Coordinate activities before, during, and after events.

• Systematically follow up on contacts and transfer them to the appropriate stakeholders.

• Represent M&M Software in pertinent associations and communities, such as VDMA, wvib, IDTA, and Bitkom.

• Identify opportunities for speaking engagements, partnerships, and joint initiatives.

• Establish KPIs and assess the contribution of events to the pipeline, relationships, and brand awareness.

• Propose specific improvements.

⛳️ Requirements

• Prior professional experience in B2B event marketing, event management, business development, or marketing.

• Experience in planning and assisting with trade shows, conferences, customer events, or networking events.

• A university degree in marketing, communications, business administration, event management, or a related field.

• A strategic and entrepreneurial mindset.

• Ability to identify opportunities and formulate well-founded recommendations.

• Strong organizational skills with the capability to effectively coordinate multiple stakeholders, schedules, and budgets.

• Independent and reliable working style with a high level of ownership.

• Proficiency in Microsoft 365.

• Familiarity with marketing, event, or CRM tools is advantageous.

• Excellent proficiency in German and English.

• Background in software, technology, industrial, or automation environments is a plus.
