This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas, +2 more states.
• Spearhead the advancement of Evaporation Systems technology to enhance market share in the U.S.
• Co-manage strategic customer initiatives from opportunity identification through proposal creation, presentations, negotiations, and closure of deals.
• Identify, assess, and cultivate new prospects in both established and emerging markets.
• Analyze market trends and customer purchasing behavior to formulate strategic sales plans.
• Foster relationships with customers, consultants, engineering firms, and key influencers.
• Engage in customer visits, discovery workshops, site evaluations, and executive-level presentations.
• Oversee the Evaporation Systems segment of strategic customer interactions and coordinate internal resources effectively.
• Enhance the sales team's expertise in collaboration with product and application teams.
• Mentor Sales Managers and Product & Application Engineers through ongoing customer opportunities.
• Create sales tools, customer presentations, competitive positioning strategies, and demonstration materials.
• Formulate competitive pricing strategies in conjunction with the U.S. Sales Organization.
• Represent Evaporation Systems within Alfa Laval and drive commercial sales strategies and initiatives.
• Provide global teams with insights into the U.S. market and communicate local customer requirements.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Chemical or Mechanical preferred), Business Administration, or equivalent experience.
• At least 5 years of experience in evaporation engineering, technical sales, product management, or process development.
• Preferred experience in the Food, Beverage, Dairy, Personal Care, or Life Science sectors.
• Capability to lead and influence cross-functional teams without having direct authority.
• Demonstrated success in customer-facing roles such as sales, application engineering, or technical support.
• Strong communication and presentation abilities with both technical and executive audiences.
• Expertise in managing direct, distributor, and national account sales channels.
• Robust strategic and analytical skills, with a focus on data-driven decision-making.
• Proficient in Excel or other data management tools for analyzing and optimizing sales data.
• Willingness to travel 50%-60% throughout the United States.
• Candidates must be located in the U.S. or have an established presence in the region.
