This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.

📋 Description

• Collect project details and requirements while establishing priorities.

• Conduct quantity takeoffs and production forecasts.

• Assess and interpret construction drawings accurately.

• Develop construction budgets based on plans, specifications, and anticipated costs.

• Analyze purchase proposals and modifications, including additions and site requirements.

• Solicit and negotiate bids from suppliers and subcontractors.

• Maintain cost keys and pricing master files.

• Address cost discrepancies by gathering and evaluating information.

• Create specialized reports and summarize information and trends.

• Adhere to organizational quality standards.

• Record and communicate actions, irregularities, and ongoing needs across work teams.

• Enhance professional and technical expertise through workshops, publications, networking, and professional organizations.

• Collaborate with Project Management on proposals.

• Work closely with Construction Management regarding production rates, scheduling milestones, and job sequencing.

• Contribute to team efforts related to the project.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field is preferred.

• At least 5 years of relevant work experience; 8+ years is preferred.

• Experience in concrete estimating is required.

• Must be quality-focused.

• Experience with tilt-up and commercial flatwork is preferred.

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication abilities.

• Excellent budgeting and documentation skills.

• Experience in vendor relationship management.

• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and Adobe.

• Familiarity with construction scheduling is essential.

• Capability to develop and lead teams effectively.

• Ability to identify and resolve complex issues while making sound decisions.

• Must possess a current driver's license.

• Willingness to travel less than 25%, including potential travel to meetings and job sites as needed.

• Must successfully pass a physical examination.

• Must be a U.S. Citizen.
