Especialista AWS, Python

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colombia.

📋 Description

• Design, implement, and maintain solutions on AWS.

• Develop scripts, automations, APIs, and microservices using Python.

• Configure and manage AWS services in production environments.

• Implement serverless solutions and event-driven architectures.

• Build and maintain continuous integration and deployment pipelines.

• Automate the provisioning and configuration of infrastructure.

• Monitor applications, infrastructure, and cloud services.

• Analyze and resolve technical incidents, identifying their root causes.

• Participate in migration and modernization initiatives towards AWS.

• Implement best practices for security, availability, and scalability.

• Identify opportunities for cost and performance optimization.

• Create technical documentation and transfer knowledge to the team.

• Actively engage in the technical execution of AWS solutions and Python development in production environments.

• Work practically, independently, and proactively, not solely focusing on architectural design, coordination, or vendor supervision.

⛳️ Requirements

• Professional education in Systems Engineering, Computer Science, Software, or related fields.

• A minimum of 5 years of experience in technology.

• At least 3 years of recent practical experience implementing AWS solutions.

• Proven experience in developing and automating solutions with Python.

• Direct involvement in AWS implementations in production environments.

• Experience with AWS Lambda, Amazon EC2, Amazon S3, AWS IAM, Amazon CloudWatch, Amazon EventBridge, and Amazon RDS or DynamoDB.

• Familiarity with APIs, microservices, serverless architectures, or event-driven solutions.

• Proficient in CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, AWS CodePipeline, or similar tools.

• Knowledge of Docker and Git.

• Experience in monitoring, log analysis, and incident resolution.

• Understanding of security and access management in AWS.

• Experience working with agile methodologies.

• Desirable knowledge of Terraform, CloudFormation, or other infrastructure as code tools.

• Desirable knowledge of Kubernetes, Amazon EKS, or Amazon ECS.

• Desirable experience with FastAPI, Django, or Flask.

• Desirable knowledge of SQL and NoSQL databases.

• Desirable experience with REST APIs.

• Desirable experience in migrating and modernizing applications to AWS.

• Desirable experience in cloud cost optimization or FinOps practices.

• Desirable experience in data processing, ETL, MLOps, or artificial intelligence.

• Desirable complementary experience in Azure or GCP.

• Desirable experience in retail, e-commerce, logistics, or supply chain.

• Desirable certifications such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate, AWS Certified Developer – Associate, AWS Certified SysOps Administrator – Associate, or AWS Certified DevOps Engineer – Professional.
