This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Process and prepare real estate transactions, including the preparation of closing statements.
• Address inquiries from borrowers, lenders, and investors.
• Organize closings and oversee the closing calendar.
• Handle escrow transactions from initiation through funding, recording, and issuance of policy.
• Examine title commitments and determine title requirements, defects, and necessary curative actions.
• Draft Closing Disclosures, ALTA Settlement Statements, HUDs when applicable, and other required closing documents.
• Confirm lender instructions and ensure the fulfillment of all closing conditions.
• Accurately balance escrow accounts and settlement statements.
• Arrange and coordinate remote, mobile, attorney, and mail-away closings.
• Inspect executed documents for completeness prior to funding.
• Facilitate the recording of deeds, mortgages, deeds of trust, satisfactions, and other legal documents.
• Licensed Title Insurance agent.
• Minimum of five years of experience in real estate and/or title insurance.
• Capability to review and comprehend real estate contracts, title commitments, and closing documents.
• Advanced understanding of the complete title process from start to finish.
• Clean financial history regarding bank accounts.
• Experience managing escrow transactions from initiation through funding, recording, and policy issuance.
• Proficient in reviewing title commitments and identifying title requirements, defects, and curative items.
• Competence in preparing Closing Disclosures (CDs), ALTA Settlement Statements, HUDs as applicable, and other closing documents.
• Ability to confirm lender instructions and ensure compliance with all closing conditions.
• Proficient in balancing escrow accounts and settlement statements accurately.
• Skilled at scheduling and coordinating remote, mobile, attorney, and mail-away closings.
• Capable of reviewing executed documents for completeness before funding.
• Proficient in coordinating the recording of deeds, mortgages, deeds of trust, satisfactions, and other legal documents.
• Experience with Qualia is preferred.
• Knowledge of Simplifile is preferred.
• Familiarity with Snapdocs is preferred.
• State-specific knowledge in PA, NJ, NC, SC, and TN is ideal.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Detail-oriented, organized, and focused on task completion.
• Ability to problem-solve and adhere to timelines.
• Capacity to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
