Escalator Engineer – Days

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.

📋 Description

• Oversee the maintenance and repair of escalators and moving walkways at key rail and underground locations.

• Perform maintenance, repairs, and respond to callouts for escalators and moving walkways from multiple manufacturers.

• Service KONE TM, RTV and RTK units, Schindler 9300 escalators, Anlev systems, and Otis 506 NCE equipment.

• Ensure the safe and reliable operation of equipment throughout the London area.

• Maintain high standards of service delivery, safety, and customer satisfaction.

• Conduct thorough risk assessments.

• Keep site log cards updated during each visit.

• Operate across Greater London, including Gatwick Airport and Stansted Airport stations.

• Work hours are from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM in a 4-on, 4-off schedule with 12-hour shifts and a 45-minute unpaid break.

⛳️ Requirements

• NVQ Level 3 in Escalator Engineering or an equivalent qualification.

• Proven experience in the maintenance of escalators and moving walkways.

• A valid UK driving license is mandatory.

• Experienced escalator engineer residing within the M25.

• Strong diagnostic skills in both mechanical and electrical systems.

• Must hold the appropriate right to work in the UK.

• Sponsorship is not available for this position.
