Escalator Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.

📋 Description

• Oversee, repair, and respond to service calls for escalators and moving walkways from a variety of manufacturers.

• Provide service, maintenance, and repair for escalators and moving walkways at major rail and underground locations.

• Work on KONE TM, RTV, and RTK units, Schindler 9300 escalators, Anlev systems, and Otis 506 NCE equipment.

• Utilize strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.

• Ensure safe and dependable operation throughout the Scotland Central Belt area.

• Maintain high standards of service, safety, and customer satisfaction.

• Conduct thorough risk assessments.

• Keep site log cards updated during each visit.

• Employ mobile communication systems to log calls and retrieve customer and equipment information.

⛳️ Requirements

• Must possess at least an NVQ Level 3 with extensive technical knowledge.

• NVQ Level 3 in Escalator Engineering or a similar qualification is required.

• Demonstrated experience in maintaining and executing minor repairs on electrical, mechanical, or electronic equipment in customer settings.

• Proficient in using computers or PDAs.

• Capability to operate a mobile communications unit for logging calls and accessing customer and equipment details.

• Must hold the appropriate right to work.
