ERP System Administrator, Acumatica

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Act as the lead Acumatica administrator for Alimentiv’s instance, overseeing configuration, user access, security, workflows, and module settings.

• Develop and implement Finance solutions utilizing Acumatica's inherent features, such as Generic Inquiries, Business Events, push notifications, custom reports, and approval workflows.

• Enhance and support accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, project accounting, billing, financial reporting, and month-end close processes.

• Collaborate with the Finance team to define requirements, document procedures, and deliver enhancements to Acumatica.

• Resolve Acumatica-related issues and liaise with the implementation partner.

• Uphold the discipline of the test environment and ensure proper approvals for any changes impacting shared multi-tenant surfaces.

• Optimize Acumatica's procurement capabilities, encompassing vendor management, requisitions, purchase orders, and integrations with Concur-Acumatica.

• Set up and test procurement workflows while assisting in discovery, requirements gathering, configuration, testing, training, and operational rollout.

• Act as the technical owner of the SAP Concur–Acumatica integration through Celigo, which includes monitoring, triaging, field mapping, exception investigation, and coordination of resolutions.

• Collaborate on related integrations such as Host-to-Host banking, BambooHR HR synchronization, and ADF data pipelines to Power BI.

• Document the integration architecture, field mappings, data flows, and change history.

• Lead the governance of integration changes and formal intake and approval processes.

• Assist with planned upgrades of Acumatica through customization risk assessments, validation, rollout, and post-upgrade stabilization.

• Function within Alimentiv’s gate-based Finance Change Delivery Process utilizing JIRA as the record-keeping system.

• Keep comprehensive documentation of Acumatica configurations, customizations, and governance decisions.

⛳️ Requirements

• At least 5 years of hands-on experience with Acumatica administration in Finance and related modules; candidates lacking direct Acumatica experience will not be considered.

• Practical experience with SAP Concur in invoice processing, accounts payable workflows, or system administration.

• Proven track record with major-version upgrades of Acumatica, including customization risk assessments, test validation, and coordinated deployments.

• Direct experience with Acumatica Generic Inquiries, Business Events, push notifications, and approval workflow setups.

• Experience in administering Acumatica across Finance, Projects, and Procurement functionalities (preferred).

• Familiarity with ERP system integrations, with or without middleware such as Celigo (preferred).

• Experience with Power BI or similar business intelligence/reporting tools connected to ERP data sources (preferred).

• Background in a professional services, CRO, or life sciences setting (preferred).

• Acumatica certifications such as Business Consultant, Advanced Financials, or equivalent (strongly preferred).

• Additional Acumatica certifications in Project Accounting, Manufacturing, or Construction (an asset).
