ERP Application Engineer – Netsuite SCM

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Perform technical development tasks within the Supply Chain Management (SCM) domain.

• Configure and enhance the NetSuite Warehouse Management System (WMS) functionalities to facilitate pick, pack, ship workflows, wave planning, and solutions for serial or lot tracking.

• Support the inventory lifecycle from manufacturing hubs to market deployment by maintaining and improving essential NetSuite processes such as Item Receipts, Item Fulfillment, and Landed Costs.

• Build, maintain, and troubleshoot integrations that connect NetSuite to Oracle Transportation Management (OTM).

• Assist in the automation of data connectors with Anaplan to ensure reliable data synchronization for demand planning.

• Utilize SuiteFlow and SuiteScript to automate inventory state transitions, item fulfillment processes, and receipt routing.

• Aid in maintaining role-based access controls, data security policies, and inventory reconciliation controls.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to convert business requirements into stable technical solutions.

• Adhere to established coding standards for NetSuite extensions and automated pipelines.

• Share knowledge with colleagues, engage in code reviews, and contribute to onboarding and documentation efforts.

• Contribute to NetSuite SDF and GitHub-based Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.

• Address incidents, troubleshoot problems, and support service reliability enhancements.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 4 years of experience in ERP or application engineering.

• Strong practical expertise in developing and configuring solutions within complex supply chain and inventory environments.

• Solid technical and functional knowledge of NetSuite Inventory, NetSuite WMS, Oracle OTM, Anaplan, and Arena PLM.

• Experience in configuring NetSuite WMS workflows, location setups, and custom scripts for serial-controlled and lot-controlled inventory processes.

• Hands-on experience in building and supporting data pipelines that connect PLM systems like Arena to ERP systems such as NetSuite for BOM and related supply chain data flows.

• Strong proficiency in the SuiteCloud customization platform, including SuiteScript (2.0/2.1), SuiteBuilder, SuiteTalk (SOAP and REST APIs), and SuiteBundler.

• Practical experience with object-oriented programming languages like Java or Python, as well as middleware solutions such as Celigo, Boomi, or Workato.

• Strong understanding of SQL for reporting and data management, alongside familiarity with Git-based version control systems and the SuiteCloud Development Framework (SDF).

• Comfortable working in high-growth, asset-heavy environments with standard SOX, GDPR, and inventory audit controls.

• Preferred Certifications: NetSuite Certified SuiteCloud Developer, NetSuite Certified Administrator, and NetSuite Certified SuiteFoundation.
