This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.
• Act as the main technical support contact for Intel's sales accounts.
• Work alongside Sales to identify customer requirements and create tailored technical solutions.
• Prepare and present technical presentations, product demonstrations, and customer proposals.
• Assess customer specifications and suggest suitable products and solutions.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Product Management, and Manufacturing to ensure technical feasibility and project execution.
• Assist with RFQs, quotations, technical documentation, and product selection.
• Lead efforts to secure design wins.
• Facilitate technical discussions with customer engineering teams and address technical inquiries.
• Engage in customer meetings, design reviews, and project planning sessions.
• Keep abreast of industry trends, competitive offerings, and emerging technologies.
• Aid in new product launches and product qualifications.
• Foster strong customer relationships and ensure customer satisfaction.
• Travel as necessary to customer sites and internal meetings.
• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Telecommunications Engineering, Electronics, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field.
• 5-10 years of experience in Sales Engineering, Application Engineering, Field Applications Engineering, or Technical Sales.
• Proven experience supporting clients in the telecommunications or networking sectors.
• Extensive technical knowledge of telecom sectors, including RAN, cloud RAN, fixed and optical networks, IP routing, cloud technologies, CPUs, ASICs, GPUs, custom silicon, ASSPs, and AI solutions.
• In-depth understanding of Intel's data center, client, and edge products.
• Established track record of securing design wins or qualifications with OEMs.
• Proficient in interpreting technical specifications and converting customer needs into effective solutions.
• Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
• Exceptional communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills in English.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Capable of completing tasks with minimal supervision.
• Experience working in global and cross-functional teams.
• Prior experience with major telecom OEMs is preferred.
• Knowledge of AI, 3GPP RAN (5G), wireless and wired infrastructures, networking equipment, or data center technologies is preferred.
• Familiarity with CRM systems such as Salesforce is preferred.
• Project management experience is a plus.
• Must be physically located in and work remotely from Ontario, British Columbia, or both.
• If residing elsewhere in Canada, must relocate to the designated work location before the start date.
• Fully remote work model.
• Occasional visits to Intel sites based on business requirements.
