This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in North Dakota.
• Perform repairs and maintenance on all equipment in practitioners’ offices, prioritizing exceptional customer service.
• Address and resolve complex technical issues through escalation.
• Provide installation services as required.
• Maintain the necessary tools and equipment for installation and repair tasks.
• Lead team members while overseeing on-site installation, repair, maintenance, and testing activities.
• Diagnose technical problems and determine effective solutions.
• Understand customer needs and suggest solutions to enhance their experience.
• Support junior technicians with their tasks to guarantee high-quality customer service.
• Ensure appropriate inventory levels in the service van.
• Generate timely and detailed service reports.
• Participate in mandatory career development and technical training provided by manufacturers.
• Adhere to OSHA regulations and utilize personal protective equipment when necessary.
• Communicate progress on assignments to team members and HUB dispatchers.
• Complete, review, finalize, and submit work orders for billing on a daily basis.
• Submit necessary job-related documentation, including FDA Forms, expense reports, and other paperwork.
• Follow Fleet Management Policy, which includes maintenance and accident management protocols.
• Engage in special projects and carry out additional duties as needed.
• Must possess 3 or more Level 1 Certifications as determined by the ROM/ZOM based on business requirements.
• Must be cross-certified (e.g., digital x-ray/software, digital CAD/CAM, etc.).
• Demonstrated ability to present preventative maintenance options to customers.
• Proven capability to accurately and promptly manage administrative tasks (work orders, FSRs, Concur, eTime, RMAs, 2579 reporting, etc.).
• Ability to act as a liaison among Henry Schein, customers, contractors, and EPM.
• Must exhibit lead technician skills.
• Must be able to work effectively with minimal supervision.
• Expert troubleshooting abilities are required.
• Proven track record of handling confidential information.
• Must possess the ability to mentor other technicians.
• Strong oral communication and presentation skills are essential.
• Advanced computer skills are necessary.
• Typically requires 7 or more years of experience in the dental industry with demonstrated proficiency.
• Strong mechanical aptitude is essential.
• Experience in service and installation is required.
• Must have achieved and demonstrated expertise equivalent to a CIT certification.
• Generally, a High School diploma, vocational training, and/or on-the-job training is expected; an Associate's degree or Technical School Certification is preferred.
• Ability to handle large equipment and perform significant and/or repetitive bending, stooping, lifting, and climbing ladders is necessary.
