This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Iowa.

📋 Description

• Deliver repair services for equipment in practitioners’ offices under the guidance of a Lead Technician or Project Coordinator.

• Offer basic equipment installation services as required.

• Execute onsite installation, repair, maintenance, and testing activities under supervision.

• Identify technical issues using appropriate troubleshooting methods and determine effective solutions.

• Provide recommendations based on customer needs to enhance the customer experience.

• Maintain adequate inventory levels within the service van.

• Generate timely and comprehensive service reports.

• Participate in mandatory Henry Schein Dental Career Development and manufacturer technical training sessions.

• Adhere to OSHA regulations and utilize personal protective equipment when necessary.

• Report assignment progress to team members and HUB dispatchers.

• Complete, review, finalize, and submit work orders for billing purposes.

• Submit FDA forms, expense reports, and other essential documentation.

• Follow Fleet Management Policy, including guidelines for maintenance and accident management.

• Engage in special projects and undertake additional duties as required.


⛳️ Requirements

• Generally, 2 or more years of field service experience with proven proficiency.

• Basic mechanical knowledge.

• Experience in customer service.

• Fundamental troubleshooting abilities.

• Self-motivated and able to work independently.

• Basic computer proficiency.

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

• Professional demeanor.

• Attention to accuracy and detail.

• Working understanding of hydraulic, mechanical, and electrical systems.

• Capability to maneuver large equipment.

• Ability to perform substantial and/or repetitive bending, stooping, lifting, and climbing ladders.

• Compliance with OSHA regulations.

• High school diploma, vocational training, and/or on-the-job training are typically expected.

• An Associate's degree or Technical School Certification is preferred but not mandatory.
