This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in South Carolina.
• Process orders for medical equipment submitted by Medical Sales Consultants.
• Analyze and identify procurement methods using warehouse inventory or supplier purchase orders.
• Evaluate account credit status to ensure orders can be entered and approved.
• Acquire products by processing vendor purchase orders, ordering from distribution centers, and reserving inventory from equipment centers.
• Prioritize delivery requests and liaise with sales suppliers and equipment warehouses.
• Manage post-order delivery requests, which include replacement orders, credits, and invoice rebills.
• Assess products to confirm placement by the equipment team and compliance with customer licensing.
• Address high-volume equipment requests and inquiries regarding order status via ACD, email, and fax.
• Examine equipment back orders using open purchase-order and open-order reports.
• Resolve issues related to equipment orders and coordinate with the Credit, Accounts Payable, and Commission teams.
• Handle inquiries regarding items, conduct product searches, address customer concerns, and respond to order-status questions.
• Strong telephone etiquette.
• Willingness to learn relevant computer systems.
• Experience in purchasing and parts ordering.
• Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
• Keen attention to detail and accuracy.
• Customer service orientation with the capability to handle complex issues.
• Ability to plan and organize activities effectively.
• Strong interpersonal communication skills.
• Proficient written and verbal communication skills.
• Capacity to maintain confidential and sensitive information.
• Team-oriented with the ability to collaborate effectively.
• Capability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Establish productive working relationships at various levels within the organization.
• Typically requires 2 or more years of related experience.
• Generally requires a High School education, vocational training, and/or on-the-job training (preferred, but not mandatory).
