This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
β’ Deliver functional and application design, development, and support for Epic Prelude, encompassing registration, patient access, and associated workflows.
β’ Assess, troubleshoot, and resolve intricate Prelude issues and configuration obstacles.
β’ Facilitate and enhance Patient Estimates functionality, which includes configuration, workflows, testing, and troubleshooting.
β’ Assist with Epic E-Signature functionality within registration and patient-oriented workflows.
β’ Configure, maintain, troubleshoot, and support Epic Letter Templates and related correspondence.
β’ Review Prelude workflows and suggest optimization, standardization, and improvements to user experience.
β’ Collaborate with Patient Access, Registration, Revenue Cycle, HIM, and other operational stakeholders to convert business requirements into Epic solutions.
β’ Engage in requirements gathering, workflow analysis, design, configuration, testing, implementation, and ongoing support.
β’ Create and execute test scripts and take part in integrated, regression, and end-user testing.
β’ Resolve production issues and ensure timely resolution or escalation.
β’ Support system upgrades, enhancements, patches, and the introduction of new functionalities.
β’ Develop and maintain application documentation, workflow documentation, configuration documentation, and training materials.
β’ Collaborate with other Epic application teams on overlapping functionalities and downstream workflows.
β’ Attend stakeholder meetings and communicate the impacts of applications, recommendations, and status updates.
β’ Over 5 years of practical Epic Prelude experience in a healthcare setting.
β’ Recent, current, and demonstrable Epic Prelude experience; primarily historical experience will not be accepted.
β’ Active Epic Prelude certification is required and must be verifiable.
β’ In-depth understanding of Epic Patient Access/Registration workflows and Prelude functionality.
β’ Proven hands-on experience with Patient Estimates.
β’ Demonstrated practical experience with Epic E-Signature functionality.
β’ Experience working with Epic Letter Templates.
β’ Strong comprehension of Prelude integration with other Epic applications and Revenue Cycle workflows.
β’ Familiarity with requirements gathering, workflow analysis, configuration, testing, troubleshooting, and production support.
β’ Excellent analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
β’ Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
β’ Ability to work independently while effectively collaborating with application, technical, and operational teams.
β’ Preferred: experience supporting large or complex health systems.
β’ Preferred: experience with Patient Access and Revenue Cycle transformation or optimization initiatives.
β’ Preferred: experience in Epic implementations, upgrades, optimization projects, or significant enhancements.
