Epic Prelude Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Deliver functional and application design, development, and support for Epic Prelude, encompassing registration, patient access, and associated workflows.

• Assess, troubleshoot, and resolve intricate Prelude issues and configuration obstacles.

• Facilitate and enhance Patient Estimates functionality, which includes configuration, workflows, testing, and troubleshooting.

• Assist with Epic E-Signature functionality within registration and patient-oriented workflows.

• Configure, maintain, troubleshoot, and support Epic Letter Templates and related correspondence.

• Review Prelude workflows and suggest optimization, standardization, and improvements to user experience.

• Collaborate with Patient Access, Registration, Revenue Cycle, HIM, and other operational stakeholders to convert business requirements into Epic solutions.

• Engage in requirements gathering, workflow analysis, design, configuration, testing, implementation, and ongoing support.

• Create and execute test scripts and take part in integrated, regression, and end-user testing.

• Resolve production issues and ensure timely resolution or escalation.

• Support system upgrades, enhancements, patches, and the introduction of new functionalities.

• Develop and maintain application documentation, workflow documentation, configuration documentation, and training materials.

• Collaborate with other Epic application teams on overlapping functionalities and downstream workflows.

• Attend stakeholder meetings and communicate the impacts of applications, recommendations, and status updates.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of practical Epic Prelude experience in a healthcare setting.

• Recent, current, and demonstrable Epic Prelude experience; primarily historical experience will not be accepted.

• Active Epic Prelude certification is required and must be verifiable.

• In-depth understanding of Epic Patient Access/Registration workflows and Prelude functionality.

• Proven hands-on experience with Patient Estimates.

• Demonstrated practical experience with Epic E-Signature functionality.

• Experience working with Epic Letter Templates.

• Strong comprehension of Prelude integration with other Epic applications and Revenue Cycle workflows.

• Familiarity with requirements gathering, workflow analysis, configuration, testing, troubleshooting, and production support.

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving capabilities.

• Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to work independently while effectively collaborating with application, technical, and operational teams.

• Preferred: experience supporting large or complex health systems.

• Preferred: experience with Patient Access and Revenue Cycle transformation or optimization initiatives.

• Preferred: experience in Epic implementations, upgrades, optimization projects, or significant enhancements.
