Epic Clinical Application Analyst I

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alabama, +15 more states.

📋 Description

• Provide support and configuration for the assigned healthcare application.

• Offer assistance, training, and support to customers regarding application operation and administration.

• Diagnose application issues and collaborate with vendors for resolution.

• Collaborate with customers to enhance their understanding of available tools and improve operational efficiencies.

• Generate documentation and assist Technology teams with various issues and challenges.

• Communicate project issues and achievements to the application manager.

• Deliver work products that align with project scope and departmental application configuration/development standards.

• Analyze and document workflows, regulatory requirements, operational procedures, and policies relevant to hospitals or departments.

• Engage in the planning, development, implementation, maintenance, support, and evaluation of clinical or business application systems.

• Conduct system design, document design decisions, redesign and document workflows, gather data, build databases, and perform testing and troubleshooting.

• Attend team and project meetings, working closely with team members.

• Maintain expertise in the assigned application or technical area.

• Collaborate with customers and Epic team members to deliver effective solutions.

• Test module updates, enhancements, and new releases.

• Execute other duties as assigned.

• High school diploma or more than one year of related experience.

• 1–3 years of relevant experience.

• Current EPIC certification/accreditation required upon hire, or certification/accreditation must be obtained within the specified timeframe after hire.

• Willingness to travel or engage in remote training if certification is not attained at the time of hire.

• Travel to off-site locations may be necessary.

• Must reside in Alabama, Colorado, Florida, Georgia, Idaho, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Kentucky, Minnesota, Missouri, Mississippi, Nebraska, North Carolina, Oklahoma, Texas, Utah, or Virginia for remote employment.
