This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Extract, retrieve, and operationalize data from client hospitals' Epic systems concerning underpayments, denials, and intricate claims workflows.
• Collaborate directly with hospital clients, internal stakeholders, and vendors to assess access capabilities.
• Develop repeatable processes and implement solutions to facilitate the flow of Epic data into Revecore systems.
• Identify the most effective methods to obtain claims, payments, remittance/EOBs, billing information, documents, and other revenue-cycle data from Epic.
• Expand Revecore’s FHIR-based Epic integration to additional client Epic environments and diverse use cases.
• Utilize Epic APIs, FHIR, Clarity/reporting, applications, extracts, integrations, and automation.
• Recognize Epic capabilities and strategies that are not currently being utilized.
• Minimize manual tasks in client Epic environments.
• Transform business use cases into actionable client enablement and Revecore build/configuration requirements.
• Establish scalable approaches applicable across various health-system clients.
• Remain updated on Epic capabilities pertinent to third-party data access and provide guidance on practical methods.
• Collaborate with product, operations, and implementation teams to develop technical retrieval solutions.
• Profound, hands-on Epic expertise concentrated on data access, integration, interoperability, and automation.
• Extensive knowledge of Epic Resolute Hospital Billing and/or Professional Billing.
• Relevant Epic certifications and considerable formal Epic training.
• Recent, hands-on experience with Epic APIs, FHIR, Clarity/reporting, extracts, applications, integrations, and data/document retrieval.
• Preference for ownership-level FHIR integration work.
• Experience with Epic's Vendor Services/Showroom certification pathway.
• Strong comprehension of Epic revenue cycle data and workflows, including claims, billing, payments, remittance/EOBs, denials, and underpayments.
• Capability to design repeatable, scalable retrieval processes across various client configurations.
• Ability to convert business requirements into actionable Epic solutions while effectively collaborating with hospital Epic teams and internal Product, Implementation, and Operations partners.
• Current awareness of Epic’s evolving capabilities.
• Eligibility to work in the United States.
• Successful completion of employment history verification and background check.
• Epic Bridges Certification is preferred.
• Epic Client Systems Administrator (ECSA) Interconnect Certification is preferred.
• Epic Resolute Hospital Billing Certification is preferred.
• Epic Prelude Certification is preferred.
• Highest level of education completed is required.
